In the afternoon of March 26, “Seminar on Enhancing and Developing the Value Chain and Industrial Chain of Abrasives” was successfully held in Huangshan, which was presided over by Prof. Li Zhengxin, Executive Vice Chairman of the Expert Committee of Abrasives Industry.
Prof. Li Zhengxin firstly analyzed the problems of the industry from the aspects of value chain, talent chain and industrial chain, and hoped that the industry enterprises would pay attention to the common problems and find solutions to promote the healthy development of the industry.
Participating enterprises expressed their views, from the upstream and downstream industry chain, industry equipment supporting a comprehensive discussion. In the context of the new era, digitalization, greening, intelligence has become a consensus for the transformation and upgrading of the industry, entrepreneurs combined with the plight and opportunities faced by their own enterprises, have to put forward their own insights around the abrasives industry, “the new quality of productivity” to discuss, fruitful.
At around 4:00 p.m., the eight session of the Abrasives Industry Expert Committee started formally, and the meeting was chaired by Zhao Xinli, chairman of the Abrasives Industry Expert Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, Xia Xuefeng, Deputy Secretary General of the Association, read out the list of the eighth expert committee of the abrasive industry. Zhao Xinli, Chairman of the Expert Committee, made a comprehensive review and summarized the work of the 7th Expert Committee. The meeting considered and passed the “Eighth National Abrasives Expert Committee Work Plan”, which determined “to gather high-level intellectual resources at home and abroad, and make suggestions for the development of China's abrasives industry” and “to enhance the industry's sense of participation and responsibility”. Enhance the sense of participation, responsibility and honor of technicians, and promote enterprise innovation-driven development” ‘Provide technical support for the work of the association, enhance the cohesion of the industry association, and promote the development of the industry’ ”Complete the tasks listed in the work regulations of the expert committee ““Expanding domestic and international technical exchanges, expanding inter-industry and inter-field strategic cooperation, and realizing the sustainable development of the industry”” are the five key areas of work in 2024.
During the meeting, experts discussed value-added, environmental protection, specialization, high-end products, carbon neutrality, group standards, etc., which aroused heated discussion and resonance on the spot. The meeting emphasized that the expert committee should work together to explore the development of China's abrasive industry in the near future, the medium and long term technology development roadmap, and closely linked with the government, enterprises, research institutes, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry, so the meeting was successfully concluded.
