On the afternoon of March 26, the third council of the eighth session of the abrasives and abrasives branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association was successfully held in Huangshan, Anhui Province. Wang Xu, executive vice chairman of China Machine Tool Industry Association, Li Jiyun, director of the General Office, and 72 governing units attended the meeting.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman Guo Chunyang. The meeting mainly focused on the review of the 2023 work summary and 2024 work plan summary of the branch, the review of the list of new members and retired enterprises, the discussion of the addition of governing units, and the election of the eighth rotating president.
At the meeting, Secretary-General Chen Peng sorted out the 2023 work summary and 2024 work plan of the Abrasives Branch for the participating directors, which was unanimously approved by everyone.
The meeting reviewed and approved the list of new members and withdrawn enterprises; Agreed to add Tonghua Horizon Abrasives Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Rickel New Materials Co., Ltd. as the eighth governing units; Chairman Guo Chunyang introduced the principle and process of the implementation of the rotating chairman system of the branch, and the meeting elected White Pigeon Abrasives Co., Ltd., Ningxia Hexing Carbon-based Materials Co., Ltd., Shandong Shengquan New Materials Co., Ltd., and Henan University of Technology as the eighth rotating chairman unit, Li Yonggang, Gu Xu, Tao Xianbo, Xu Sankui four comrades served as the rotating chairman, and announced the rotation order.
Subsequently, Li Yonggang, the newly elected eighth-term rotating president, spoke highly of the past work achievements of the branch, and said that he would fulfill his duties and responsibilities to ensure that the work of the branch can be carried out continuously and effectively.
At the end of the meeting, Vice President Wang Xu made a concluding speech, he briefly reviewed the previous work of the industry organization, and pointed out that the change from the single chairman system to the rotating chairman system is a positive attempt and reform of the current council, which can encourage more enterprises to participate in the work of industry management and strengthen the interaction and communication between enterprises. At the same time, the four newly elected rotating presidents were instructed to play the role of linking the upper and lower levels and promoting the work of the branch to enter the state as soon as possible.
The meeting was successfully concluded after the completion of the above agendas. This meeting enhanced the cohesion and leadership of the Council and gave full play to the collective wisdom! It has laid a solid foundation for the branch to further improve its service work, expand its influence in the industry, and lead the high-quality development of the industry.
