On May 17, the 2024 China Lab-grown Diamond Industry Summit was grandly opened in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. With the theme of "New Quality·, New Ecology", the summit invited more than 400 participants, including government associations, colleges and universities, industry leaders, leading enterprises, cutting-edge brands and mainstream media, to discuss in depth the new path and direction of the development of China's lab-grown diamond industry, and help the high-quality development of the lab-grown diamond industry to a new chapter.
The summit was initiated by the Organizing Committee of the China Lab-grown Diamond Industry Summit, co-sponsored by Henan Zhongyuan Jewelry Innovation Research Institute and China Superhard Materials Network, and co-organized by China Gold News, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Henan University of Technology, Zhongyuan Jewelry Industry College of Zhengzhou Vocational and Technical College, Shanghai Jewelry Design Association, Shenzhen Jewelry Designers Association, Lianjiang Jewelry Chamber of Commerce, Fujian Gem and Jade Industry Association, Zhengzhou Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, etc. Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd. and Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd. are the strategic partners of the summit.

On the opening day of the meeting, Wang Zhiming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Zhengzhou Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Henan Province, and Shan Chongxin, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice President of Zhengzhou University, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Professor Wang Qinsheng, chief expert of the National Superhard Material Industry Base, Wu Fenghua, a jewelry artist and founder of TTF in Shenzhen, attended the summit and gave a keynote speech, and Zhang Dong, consultant of China Superhard Materials Network and chairman of Yijixuan Jewelry (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., released the "Development Trend and Prospect of Lab-grown Diamond Industry".
The World Lab-grown Diamond Promotion and Trading Center project is an industrial carrier for the production and processing, design and development, inspection and testing, display, trading, incubation and promotion of lab-grown diamonds. At the meeting, Zhang Jie, President of Zhongyuan Jewelry Innovation Research Institute and President of Zhengzhou Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, promoted the "World Lab-grown Diamond Promotion and Trading Center" project. More than 20 enterprises, including Shanghai Yuyuan Jewelry & Fashion Group Co., Ltd., Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd., Henan Power Diamond Co., Ltd., Beijing World Diamond Tools Co., Ltd., and Henan Yellow River Cyclone Co., Ltd., participated in the centralized signing ceremony as members of the trading center.
In order to set an example in the lab-grown diamond industry, the meeting selected a total of 20 companies as a cutting-edge brand of lab-grown diamonds in China. In recent years, global natural diamond producers, lab-grown diamond producers, fashion jewelry brands and emerging jewelry brands are actively carrying out the retail layout of lab-grown diamonds, and lab-grown diamond brands have sprung up one after another, such as Lucan, Huajing HUAJEW, Shuse, ZND, Brilliant Ran, Carbon, Baoyani, Super Diamond and other brands were rated as China's top 20 cutting-edge lab-grown diamond brands and received awards.
The China Lab-grown Diamond Industry Summit is an all-round exchange and cooperation platform, and the participation of leading enterprises such as Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd. and Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd. has continuously amplified the effect of this summit. Liu Xinmeng, the manager of the special color brand of Huifeng Diamond, discussed the future development path of the industry by sharing the content of industrial innovation, original design, brand marketing and other aspects in the new quality time.
In addition, the Zhengzhou International Lab-grown Diamond Exhibition was held at the same time as the summit, and all major lab-grown diamond brands appeared in the exclusive exhibition area of lab-grown diamonds, presenting a visual feast of "brilliance". It is reported that the Zhengzhou International Lab-grown Diamond Exhibition will last until May 20.
