Luohe Tailong: Independent innovation "small powder" shines

In the advanced manufacturing development zone of Yuncheng District, there is an enterprise with a daily output of 1 million carats of diamond powder - Luohe Tailong Superhard Materials Co., Ltd. The company independently innovates and develops and produces synthetic diamond powder, diamond crushed material and shaping material, and its products are exported to Korea, Japan, Europe and the United States and other countries and regions.
On June 7, the company's technical staff told reporters that diamond powder usually refers to diamond particles with a particle size of less than 54 microns. Diamond is the hardest substance in nature, with high strength and good wear resistance, while diamond powder, as a superhard abrasive, has incomparable grinding ability of other products. Founded in January 2005, the company is a high-tech enterprise integrating product development, production and sales, and its products are mainly powder superhard materials and related products, including single crystal and nano-fine diamond powder of all sizes from 125 microns to 40 nanometers.
In 2023, the company will achieve an output value of 160 million yuan and a tax payment of more than 2 million yuan. In the view of Ding Rojie, general manager of the company, advanced production technology and equipment, and a strong R&D team are the key to improving product quality. The company has established stable cooperative relations with Zhengzhou Abrasives Grinding Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou University, Henan University of Technology and other universities and research institutes, and has been recognized as an innovative small and medium-sized enterprise in Henan Province and a national high-tech enterprise, and has obtained 25 national patents.
As a strategic emerging industry supported and encouraged by national policies, the synthetic diamond industry is currently in a critical period of expansion, quality improvement, transformation and upgrading. Ding Roger said that the production and sales of the company's main products are booming, and the existing sites and equipment can no longer meet the production needs.
The reporter saw in the west section of Nenjiang Road, Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, Yuncheng District, that the new standardized plant covering an area of 30 acres and planning 22,000 square meters is being stepped up and is expected to be completed and put into use in October.
"With the continuous innovation and application of advanced manufacturing technologies such as ultra-high-speed, ultra-precision, intelligent numerical control, and fine machining, the rapid development of emerging industries such as precision machining, clean energy, consumer electronics, and semiconductors has driven the increasing market demand for diamond powder. We will focus on refinement and specialization, create a new highland for the superhard material industry, provide project support for the city's industrial transformation and upgrading, and add luster to the construction of the modern Luohe 'three cities'." Ding Roger told reporters.
