The summit was initiated by the Organizing Committee of the China Lab-grown Diamond Industry Summit, co-sponsored by Henan Zhongyuan Jewelry Innovation Research Institute and China Superhard Materials Network, and co-organized by China Gold News, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Henan University of Technology, Zhongyuan Jewelry Industry College of Zhengzhou Vocational and Technical College, Shanghai Jewelry Design Association, Shenzhen Jewelry Designers Association, Lianjiang Jewelry Chamber of Commerce, Fujian Gem and Jade Industry Association, Zhengzhou Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, etc. Zhengzhou Huajing Diamond Co., Ltd. and Huifeng Diamond Co., Ltd. are the strategic partners of the summit.

Xi'an Jiaotong University successfully achieved mass production of 2-inch heteroepitaxial single crystal diamond substrates

Recently, the entrepreneurial team led by Professor Wang Hongxing of Xi'an Jiaotong University has made significant progress and breakthroughs in the industrialization of single crystal diamond substrate technology. The team used a microwave plasma-based chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) technology to achieve the mass production of 2-inch heteroepitaxial single crystal diamond substrates, which marks that China's research in the field of superhard materials has reached the international leading level, and will provide strong technical support for the development of related industries.
